St.John Bosco continues to build a Legacy


{Paramount, California, April 24, 2018}  -  

After winning the CAHA State High School championship at the Division ll  level. St. John Bosco High School Hockey placed 3rd, claiming the  Bronze medal at the prestigious USA Hockey D2 High School National Tournament. 

This was the teams first birth in the USA Hockey National tournament representing California as the top High School team at the Division II level. 

Only in its 4th season, Bosco is building a legacy of success on and off the ice. With High School titles in 2015, 2016 and now 2017 National success, the program continues to set the bar high.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the effort and attitude of the players and how they battled through the challenges,” Head Coach Tomas Kapusta said. 

“They represented the school, themselves and their families in a first class manner the entire season and we’re rewarded for their hard work, “ Kapusta continued.

In the upcoming season,  the St. John Bosco HS will build all in-district Varsity team and  JV team.   These two teams  will consists of not only St. John Bosco students but also of players belonging to the school districts assigned to Bosco Hockey  by the ADHSHL. 

The Bosco Braves will continue their pursuit for excellence and want you to “join the legacy”. Players are eligible to play for St. John Bosco fall team if they attend St. John Bosco  or go to school in the following school districts: Downey Unified SD, Bellflower Unified SD, Paramount Unified SD, Cerritos HS, Gahr HS, Pioneer HS, Norwalk HS,

Bosco Varsity and JV Spring Clinics for the 2018-19 season are taking place on Wednesdays at 5:15pm @Paramount Iceland. The Team Registration will take place on Wednesday, May 30th at 5:15pm at Paramount Iceland.
